Boy Scout Troop 186 is a member of the Hockanum River District of the Connecticut Rivers Council, one of four Scout councils operating in the state.
Troop 186 meets every Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Philip R. Smith Elementary School in South Windsor. Our Scoutmaster is Mike Miller.
Troop 186 balances the fun and excitement of traditional Scouting activities, such as camping and hiking, with the spirit of learning and achievement reflected in merit badges and rank advancement.
More than 100 members of Troop 186 have attained the rank of Eagle Scout.
All interested boys between the ages of 11 and 20 are welcome to attend a meeting to see if they might be interested in joining.
