The scouts with leadership positions for the upcoming calendar year had an excellent meeting to cover ILST training in order to be ready to lead the troop to success. Here are some announcements that are valuable:

• We had our ILST training tonight for the leadership team. It was filled with educational lessons, fun activities, and other models, to help our scouts have a deeper understanding of the structure of the troop. 
• We are having our campout this weekend. Please refer to WhatsApp for any and all information available about the campout this weekend. This is a note that we need one more adult who is willing to drive scouts to the campsite. Scouts, also make sure you bring your menu assignments for your patrol.

Scouts - Reminder that we are NOT having a normal Troop meeting tonight.  We'll see you at the campout this weekend and our normal Troop meeting next Wednesday.

We still need an extra driver for this weekend.

For those of you with a Scout leadership position including our new Senior and Patrol leaders, we're having our Scout ILST training tonight from 6:30PM until 9:00 PM.    Please wear your Class A uniform.  We'll see you tonight!

Scouts - We have our cabin Campout to Nobscot Scout Reservation in Sudbury MA this weekend!

We have 3 Adults  and 15 Scouts signed up.   We need another adult driver to be able to transport everyone.   Please let us know if you can drive.

Since there's no school on Friday, we'd like to leave by 5PM from Avery St Church.

Make sure you are shopping for your Patrol meals.

The troop had a great meeting conducting elections to elect our new leadership team and working on finalizing our menus for the upcoming campout. Here are some announcements from the meeting.

• Congratulations to our new leadership team for the upcoming year. Everybody had amazing speeches, and everyone deserves a round of applause today.
• If you have a leadership position, or want a leadership position, plan on coming to the ILST leadership training next Wednesday March 18th from 6:30-9:00 at the church basement. If you do not have a leadership position or do not want one, then there is no regular meeting next Wednesday. 
• Our March Cabin campout is still happening next weekend 3/20-3/22. Patrols have finalized their menus during tonight's meetings. Make sure you purchase your assigned food assignments for your patrol menus. More information about the campout will be shared soon on WhatsApp. 

Scouts  - There’s still time to join us for our March 20 camping trip!     We’ve got a good group signed up.

Although we did not have a meeting last night, there are a couple of announcements that the troop needed to make, so here is the information we have for the events coming up in March.

• Next Wednesday (3/11) we will be having leadership elections for our new leadership. You must be 2nd Class or above to run for Patrol Leader and 1st Class or above to run for Senior Patrol Leader. If you are planning on running, please have a short speech ready to give to the troop. Scouts don't miss this meeting and make sure your votes counts. 
• The Wednesday after that (3/18) we will not be having a normal troop meeting. This meeting will be leadership training for the newly elected leaders. This will be from 6:30pm to 9:00pm at the Church. 
• Details for the March campout have changed. Please check WhatsApp for information on those changes. Make sure to RSVP for the campout if you are planning on attending by March 10th. Scouts, we will be doing meal assignments at the meeting on March 11th.
