Now that you’re back from Summer Camp and have all those clothes washed…

There is a list of all the Scouts who attended First Class Path here.
We will be reviewing those rank requirements at future meetings to quickly sign them off in their Scoutbooks. They were taught, but still need to be reviewed before signing off in the online Scoutbook and their paper Scoutbook.
———
There is a list of all the Merit Badges that were earned here.
Open or Download and open in Excel or equivalent, and Filter on your Name to see yours.
If you see it listed as “Merit Badge”, that should mean the badge was earned.
If you only see it listed with “Merit Badge Requirement”, then those are the partial requirements completed.
These have been uploaded to the online Scoutbook.
———
You can also double check everything was uploaded online correctly in the online Scoutbookscoutbook.scouting.org under your name Advancements. Everything Marked Completed on July 11, 2025 are the ones imported from Summer Camp.
I’ll be double checking each Scout against the online Scoutbook over the next week and reaching out if I notice a discrepancy.

If you need your Medical Form for anything else (like a second week at camp as a Thunderbird, NYLT, or CIT !), Please let me know as I have the forms.

Here’s a picture of some Lost and Found that I have sitting on my trailer at my house at 186 Wood Pond Road. Feel free to drop by and pick them up as I may not be home:
...or I’ll bring to our next meeting(s).
If you have something else lost that I don’t have, you can access the J.N. Webster Scout Reservation LOST and FOUND Portal here.

Stay tuned for a Merit Badge Completion day - We’ll post the date once we have it.
In keeping with the months "sports theme", there are two races you might be interested in. These are not Troop drop off events, but you may see some of us there.
On Saturday 7/26, we will also have a family get together at the Veterans Memorial Pool. Bring your family and bathing suit. Also not a Troop drop off event.
Also, don’t forget to sign up for August and September campouts and hike:
Reminder: We are having a “sports themed” campout August 15-17 in Connecticut. (Likely in Putnam at Mashamoquet State Park).
On Saturday September 13, we'll have a Troop hike to Penwood Forest.
We also are having a Troop family cookout and Fall Court of Honor at our campout in September. https://tinyurl.com/186camps . Scouts camp for the weekend and families join us for the cookout and Court of Honor.
Please make sure you review the contact info and signup!
Our older Scouts went on their last training hike this week on Tuesday and are ready to tackle Mount Washington this weekend. We should have a lot of fun!
Tuesday night, our SPL and Adult Leaders attended the pre-camp cook out to help plan out our week at Summer Camp and do a pre-screening of your health forms. We just have a few minor items and forms to chase as we continue to get ready for camp. Stay tuned for more communications and we'll be at camp before you know it.
Tonight our SPL met for our yearly planning meeting and planned out our Calendar for the summer and the next 2025-2026 Scouting year. We have some exciting things planned along with a few get togethers over the summer. Stay tuned for more information on that, and we'll be updating the calendar to reserve dates.
Sorry to say that tomorrow’s work party has been cancelled due to the rain, again. The next invasive plant work party is scheduled for Saturday, July 5th. If you’re not too tired from summer camp, maybe I’ll see you there!
From Mr Kapralos:
The PLC meeting scheduled for this sunday is cancelled. Be on the lookout for an update/reschedule.
We had a nice outdoor game night tonight. The Scouts enjoyed the outdoors, signed off on advancements, and we have one rank advancement to Scout. Congratulations, Sai!
This Sunday 6/8 we're going to meet at nearby Vernon Valley Falls Park from 3-5 PM for another outdoor fun meeting. Stay tuned for more details.
The PLC meeting and cookout scheduled for Sunday 6/15 may be rescheduled to avoid Fathers Day. There will be an announcement.
The Mount Washington group will have another training hike on Tuesday 6/17. Details to be announced.
Tuesday 6/17 is also the pre-summer camp health form review. We need to get all of our health forms by then if at all possible. Stay tuned for more communications about Summer Camp.
And then the Mount Washington trip is Saturday 6/21 - Monday 6/23.
Summer camp will be here before you know it on 6/29 - 7/4.
Save the date for an adventure weekend on 8/15 - 8/17. Our PLC will be planning something fun.
Our Scouts have also talked about getting together in July and August for optional additional outdoor meetings to have fun and keep our momentum going. Stay tuned as the PLC comes up with some dates and ideas.
Don’t forget to keep track in your Scout Book of your Volunteer Hours and Conservation Volunteer hours for advancements.
