Annual Summer Field Trip

Gettysburg / Hershey, PA

August 12 – 16, 2009

Civil War Flags

History, a fun park, hiking and camping are all rolled into this year’s summer troop trip!

Brief Itinerary:

·        Wednesday, Aug. 12:        Leave South Windsor at 9:00 am and travel to McMillan Woods Youth Campground, Gettysburg, PA

·        Thursday, August 13:      Tour Gettysburg National Military Park / Dinner at   Picketts Buffet Included

·        Friday, August 14:           Day trip to Hershey Park, PA / Includes pre-paid meal ticket with souvenir cup – SWEET deal!

·        Saturday, August 15:       Hiking, orienteering & cookout at Kings Gap State Park

·        Sunday, August 16:         Leave at 10:00 am arrive and return to South Windsor mid-afternoon

 

Price $150 per person.  Includes: Admission to both parks, all meals (except lunch money for fast food stops while traveling the first and last day), camping fees and transportation. Souvenir money is optional.

All scouts are invited.  Parents are welcome too!

Reserve your spot on this trip no later than: June 1, 2009.
